The experiments strengthens is obviously being able to control the enviroment. You cannot get this kind of advantge outside a lab. The scientists can set a the enviorment the way they would like it to be then set back and watch the results. If they see something they dont like they can change with ease. A couple economic terms she uses is "bubble", dividends, profits, crashes. She explains them well enough to someone who isnt well versed in these terms can understand and therfore understand the whole article and find out what she is trying to show us. One of the most recent economic problems that have  been the crash of 2008. Using this study we can find out what went wrong such as similarities and we can prevent some of those things from happening again.
